Presenter: Shannon Bailey, Manager, Information Technology 

Details: Network Services is hosting a training on what phishing emails attempts are and how to respond when you receive one.  Phishing scams appear to originate from a trusted source to trick a user into providing information. The attacker can then use this information to access your accounts, gather additional private information about you, and make purchases or apply for credit in your name.

  • Detect Phishing Emails
  • Detect Phishing Websites
  • Look up already reported Phishing attempts
  • Report suspected Phishing
  • Implement best practices to prevent loss of private/personal data
